The Vanished City: What Really Happened to the Buildings We Lost — a digital book of fifty-eight pages in PDF format, delivered by email. It is not a printed book and nothing is posted to you. You may print it yourself if you prefer paper.
The purchase is processed by Gumroad, Inc., who act as the seller of record. They take the payment, account for any tax due in your country, and deliver the file. Their terms apply to the transaction itself and can be read at gumroad.com/terms.
The book is sent to the email address given at checkout, normally within a minute of payment. If it has not arrived within an hour, check your spam folder and then write to us — we will send it directly.
If the book is not what you expected, write within seven days of buying it and we will refund you in full. No reason is required. You keep the file.
Because the book is delivered immediately, you are asked at checkout to agree that delivery begins at once and that the statutory fourteen-day withdrawal period therefore does not apply. The seven-day promise above is offered voluntarily and independently of that.
The book is licensed for your personal use. You may read it on as many of your own devices as you like, keep a backup, and print it.
Please do not redistribute it, upload it, or sell it on. Each copy carries the buyer's email address in the footer. If someone has sent you a copy and you found it useful, the book is available directly from us.
Short quotations in reviews, articles and videos are welcome and need no permission — a mention of where it came from is appreciated.
